New Campaign Setting: Arcanum!, of steamworks and magic obscura

October 30, 2011

I’ve wanted to do a steampunk campaign setting for a long time, and I couldn’t be happier with the results now that it’s done. Behold: Arcanum, of steamworks & magic obscura. This campaign setting is steampunk, to be sure, but it’s so much more. It’s also high-fantasy,but unlike any hackneyed, stereotype-plagued high-fantasy you’ve ever seen. It’s also a dark urban setting, via Thief: Deadly Shadows and Neil Gaiman’s Neverwhere. And it’s got a bunch of factions from the coolest D&D campaign setting ever made, Planescape. This campaign setting is also my first in FULL COLOR! Rejoice!
